London 24 March 2009 -- Apical's latest version of its WDR image signal pipeline (ISP) supports the latest generation of WDR sensors up to 1080/60p and 120dB input dynamic range.
Leveraging the industry-leading capabilities of its dynamic range control engine, iridix, the pipeline also incorporates advanced 2D and 3D noise reduction, color processing, 3A and sensor-specific WDR preprocessing.
A combination of a high-performance WDR sensor and Apical's ISP delivers a new level of image quality across the full range of scene conditions.
Apical's WDR ISP is available on low-cost FPGAs and as an SoC IP core package.
