Apical's CEO, Dr Michael Tusch, collected an award on behalf of the company at the London Awards Dinner 2007 at the Globe Theatre, London on 20 September 2007.
Apical was one of a number of companies selected by the UK government for an award for a research and development project leading to an technologically innovative product.
The project involved the creation of a sophisticated image processing engine based entirely on analog signal processing elements and is expected to enable a new generation of high-speed, low-power and low-cost smart image sensors.
